IDENTITY FOCUSED ADAPTATION OF NEWCOMERS IN ORGANIZATIONS: RESOURSE FOR PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

The report addresses the issue of adaptation newcomers in organizations. This problem is very important now business and public organizations according to labor productivity, staff turnover, corporate culture etc. In spite obvious importance organization, studies this require new approaches methods. Mechanisms are explored that help retain organization create a desire continue its activities organization. research implemented framework business-psychological approach (S Benton, N. Ivanova, theory social identity (H. Tajfel, J.C. Turner), concepts (T. Bazarov, Volkova etc.). Adaptation considered as natural stage professional self-determination individual, overcoming crisis forming process. course adaptation, an formed adequate relation roles goals activity. purpose study: develop focused model, test role model work with Methodology: questionnaire (N= 109), Job Satisfaction Survey (N=15), case study Results: information psychological support novice from manager, mentor team while including specialist joint revealed. directions improving system highlighted. An has been developed, which includes following components: A) Preliminary newcomers: preparatory briefing about company; detailed company's rules regulations. B) Information colleagues: employee, his workplace, tasks appointment mentor. C) Communications mentor: checking initial conversation, monitoring problems successes, employee's initiation into affairs. D) manager: aimed at reducing uncertainty newcomer first days work. E) Communication questions, feedback, ideas, doubts, wishes. Results can be useful for management, counseling coaching development newcomer’s identity, loyalty, performance.
